FAQ: What is the difference between BspQI-HF and BspQI (NEB #R0712)?
BspQI-HF is the High Fidelity (HF) version of BspQI (NEB #R0712). BspQI-HF was engineered and selected for reduced star activity and high performance in rCutSmart Buffer at 37°C. It has the same activity as BspQI, a Type IIS restriction endonuclease that recognizes asymmetric DNA sequences and cleaves outside their recognition sequence. BspQI is available GMP-grade.
